higi is a comprehensive health and wellness platform that offers retailer-based biometric screening kiosks, integrates with various health devices and apps, and incentivizes healthy behaviors through rewards and challenges. Their challenge lies in effectively communicating their complex message to both end users and a diverse range of B2B partners, while constantly adapting their brand positioning to keep up with product advancements and audience needs.
the approach
Our approach with higi encompassed comprehensive research and insights, strategic positioning, messaging, and brand evolution, along with advertising and creative services, challenge and reward strategy development, public relations support, conference and event strategy, and social media content development and management. We worked closely with higi executives to refine the brand story and deliver key messages effectively to target audiences through various initiatives such as monthly challenges, giveaways, and event presence.
the results
Through simplified messaging, a partnership with Grammy-award winning artist, Lupe Fiasco, and strategic media outreach for higi's debut at SXSW, we secured coverage in prestigious outlets like Fast Company, Forbes, and the Wall Street Journal which resultd in a substantial increase in VC funding, expansion to 2,000 additional retail station locations, over 10 million station check-ins, and significant milestones such as releasing an Android app, acquiring EarndIt, and partnering with Rite Aid.
