Pendulum Ink

Pendulum Ink addresses the challenge of learning the art of rap. While traditional education options exist for various professions, aspiring rappers often lack a structured path to enhance their skills. Despite the apparent ease displayed by accomplished rappers, mastering the craft is a complex and time-intensive process that involves numerous overlooked steps.

Pendulum Ink was founded in the 2022 by Mickey Factz, a well respected lyricist and touring artist, and offers a solution by creating a direct pathway to improve an emcee's skill-set and understanding of the Hip Hop business. The platform provides access to classes conducted by industry experts in rap theory, lyrical & literary technique, content creation, branding, and Hip Hop mental health. With a comprehensive lexicon of over 50 rap techniques, involvement of legendary guest teachers, and a supportive community of emcees honing their skills, Pendulum Ink caters to artists at all career stages. By nurturing creativity through lyricism, the platform encourages students to challenge societal norms within both the Hip Hop and academic realms. This school of lyricism aims to offer a fresh perspective on the art of emceeing, celebrating the creative diversity of Hip Hop practitioners.

Live virtual classes cost $1,600 for a half semester or $3,500 for a full semester. They also have drop-in classes for $50-75 dollars, course book and merchandise including stickers, pens, notebooks, pennants, shirts, hats, hoodies, crewnecks, rugby’s & jackets. And an app featuring hundreds of premium educational videos for a go-at-your-own-pace model starting at $30 to $50 dollars/mo.
