Mascot Performer – "Snappy" the Dragon
We're looking for someone to bring Snappy, our giant dragon mascot, to life at the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando.
Details:
Where: Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL
When: Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16
Hours: 6:00am-8:00am (Thursday Only) and 11:00am – 3:00pm each day
Pay: $450 total for both days
What the role involves:
You'll wear the Snappy costume and work our booth on the show floor. That means greeting attendees, posing for photos, waving, high-fiving, and generally being the friendliest dragon at the show. The role is non-speaking, so personality comes through movement and energy. A handler will be with you at all times, and you'll get regular breaks out of the costume.
What we're looking for:
5'8" or taller (costume requirement)
Outgoing, high-energy personality and comfortable in a crowd
Able to stay on your feet and stay animated for the shift
Reliable and on time both days
Previous mascot or character experience is a plus, but not required
